new and old/updated bcm/cwm modules

PostWed Oct 29, 2014 3:58 pm

Hi,
Sharc has already developed hundreds of modules, but sometimes I was still in need of some extra stuff. You can download the results here.
All modules have in common that external control signals have a range of 0-214783647 so they can easily be used with ScopeSync. Also, external and internal signals are strictly divided by a switch to avoid possible Preset issues - internal parameters are in Modular's preset list, external not.
Modules download here.
Some dsp files here.
Module descriptions 'soon' on CWModular.org.
Patches will follow.
Please delete all old versions of my Bcm-Cwm modules as they partially have some serious bugs.

you're the man Will.
I forgot to say thanks to Simon, without him all this wouldn't be possible.
Without his everlasting help I couldn't make these modules the way they are - I just say: L2L 8-)

These are excellent Roy!! :o

It'll take a little while to work my way through them all, but already I can see a good few that I'm going to find really useful.

Many thanks 8-)

Very thick effects.
Makes creating an FX rack very easy.

While awaiting Will's new ScopeSyncVst version, I thought about what Modular would make easier to edit.
I'm always dreaming of some kind of hardware controller which controls could morph between several types - some faders and knobs here, and at the push of a button they disappear under the hood and a line of onOff buttons for some sequencing stuff come up. I think you know what I mean.
Ok, such tech hasn't been invented yet, so we have to make some compromise - on the hardware side.
Software is more flexible, and this is what I came up with:

A flexible panel module where you can select which type of control you want; two text labels per control; selectable background colours.

In this prototype it's just 32 controls, 11 control types, 4 colors as I first wanted to check if it works out. (patch will come soon so you can prove it yourselve - or just test it)
What do you think?

thanks jhulk,
but I dont't want to buy another hardware controller right now.
What I'm gonna do is develope the SynthPanel module further and then, if it works out, use it to edit Modular patches.
And then, when Will has completed SSVst, use it for the controls I want to tweak in my DAW.
